There is something so pure about rustic weddings. It might be the natural elements found throughout that symbolize a natural kind of love. Or maybe it’s the overall laid back vibes this style gives off that invite your guests to feel right at home and have a good time. It doesn’t take too much to fall in love with this design. Dasha and Taylor’s wedding was one that captured all of this and more.
One theme Dasha and Taylor used throughout their wedding which contributed to the rustic earthy charm was the use of natural woods. The dark finished chairs gave a polished look to the ceremony area. The couple exchanged their vows under the branches of this historical pecan tree found in the gardens of Vinewood Stables. The old whiskey barrels are an authentic touch, lining the aisle along with grand floral arrangements.
From the name cards to table settings, florals are used abundantly throughout this wedding. We love how the beauty of natural elements can really make your finishing touches down-to-Earth yet elegant. Tabletop lanterns are a fun way to add warm lighting to your space, inviting your guests to their tables. Their cake looks so stunning that it will cause anyone to hesitate before cutting into it (but we suggest doing it anyway!). This naked style cake is hugely popular for its ability to show off the natural layers. It’s minimalistic yet can be made rustic with the incorporation of florals on the cake. Also, how adorable is this flower girl with her little flower basket?!
