Modern Luxury asked us to create a styled shoot that evoked a moodier and more dramatic color palette. We took our inspiration directly from this brand new venue located just south of Atlanta. With rolling hills as far as the eye can see, cozy cobblestone patios and lush lawns under canopies of ancient trees, The Venue at Murphy Lane conjures feelings of the French Countryside. We aimed to highlight these charming features with details such as the Fleur de lis table and cane back chairs, lavender lilac and cherry blossoms, and a regal off-the shoulder beaded gown by Anne Barge.
One of our favorite details was the copper elements that accentuated the lavender and violet color palette
evoking a feeling of warmth that could be used in any season. For this styled shoot, we chose to use copper table numbers and wedding invites. We love how the color itself is a great accent to the rest of the colors found throughout the wedding. The cake has a modern geode design which we love and even uses a little copper colored accents to really bring this theme all together.
